Coronavirus impact in logistics

Coronavirus impact in logistics

Dear Partner,

The EU and the member states have made strong decisions quickly to limit the spread of the corona virus between countries.

Almost all countries have closed or are closing their borders from passenger transport.

However, as far as freight is concerned, borders are kept open in line with Eu policies.

Closing the borders will increase border controls and reduce the cargo capacity of passenger ships, which is expected to slow down international transport. This may cause extra cost due to reduced capasity. We do our best with our partners but we cannot guarantee timeliness in this exceptional situation.

Currently our raw material situation is normal and we are constantly monitoring the potential impact of this situation for our raw material availability.
